An easy and delicious one-pan pasta dish that combines garlic, butter, and Parmesan for a creamy, flavorful meal.

  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces of pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, or your preferred type)
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
  • 4 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the broth and bring to a gentle boil.
  4. Add the pasta, stirring to submerge it in the broth, and cook according to package instructions (8-10 minutes), stirring occasionally.
  5. Once cooked and most liquid absorbed, reduce heat to low.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with chopped parsley if desired.
  8. Serve hot with extra Parmesan and parsley.

Notes

Stir pasta occasionally while cooking to prevent sticking. Use freshly grated Parmesan for better flavor.
