  • 1 cup pretzel sticks
  • 1 cup mixed nuts (cashews, almonds, and peanuts)
  • 1 cup garlic-flavored bagel chips, broken into pieces
  • 1/2 cup dill pickle juice
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons dill weed (dried)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine Chex cereal, pretzel sticks, mixed nuts, and broken bagel chips. Gently toss to mix.
  3. In a separate small bowl, whisk together dill pickle juice, melted butter, dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper (if using).
  4. Pour the pickle juice mixture over the snack mix and stir gently to coat evenly.
  5. Spread the mixture on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
  7. Once done, let it cool completely.
  8. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks.

Notes

For best flavor, let the mix cool completely before storing. Adjust spice levels by modifying cayenne pepper to taste.
